Raphael Hill will be joining Marianna Ebel and Steve Moses as the confirmed candidates for Goldsmid ward. Councillor Amanda Knight will be stepping down at the time of the council elections on Thursday 2 May.
Raphael, who lives in Goldsmid ward, is a teacher of English as a Foreign Language and co-convenor of Brighton and Hove Young Greens. He said: “I’m delighted to stand as a candidate for the Green Party. If elected in May, I want to ensure that all our residents, and particularly young people and the LGBTQ+ community feel well represented in our neighbourhood, and across the city.”
