Get involved today

We can't do what we do without our brilliant team of volunteers. Whether that's delivering leaflets within their community or sharing their professional skills - volunteers are integral to electing greens in Brighton & Hove.

If you want to see change in Brighton & Hove - we'd love for you to join our team. Here's some of the ways you can get involved.

Join your local team

Get active in your neighbourhood - our local teams are active across Brighton & Hove.

Our ward teams are the key way we organise ourselves. They hold regular meetings where you can meet local greens, discuss issues and plan our election-winning campaigns. You could help deliver leaflets, post on social media, share your expertise or 'canvass' local residents on the doorstep.

Hit the streets to win campaigns and elect more greens at an action day.

You can take part in lots of actions to help gain more green voters, whether it's door-knocking, leafleting or running a stall.

You can see the details of all our events below.

Meet us at a social

Come dancing, to the pub, on country walks and more.

You can meet friendly, like-minded people at one of our fun socials.

  • February 19, 2023: Get our first Greens elected in Patcham with us on 19th February

Patcham & Hollingbury Action Day - Sunday 19th February

We have under 10 years left to halt catastrophic climate change, and just 3 months until all-out elections for Brighton & Hove City Council. This means we need you to help us get the first Greens elected in Patcham!

Greens came second in the last election in Patcham, and if Sophie, Norma and Dan, our Green Candidates, win in Patcham we can help give Greens the majority they need at the Council to fully run Brighton & Hove city.

Please join the Patcham Green team on 19th February for some door-knocking and literature delivery. Full training will be provided. It's a great opportunity to meet other like-minded people, and you'll be canvassing or literature delivering always with someone else.

We'd love for you to come for the whole day. If you you can only come for the morning or afternoon, you're welcome too.

    Lunch and cake provided.

Get in touch if you have any access requirements or other questions.

We look forward to seeing you there 🙂

Goldsmid is a key target ward for us in the upcoming May 2023 council elections. We currently have one councillor there, and we'll be aiming to win all three!

If you haven't canvassed before, don't worry! No special knowledge is required, and we'll pair you up with an experienced activist.

If it is raining on the day, there will still be opportunities to canvass blocks of flats, so come along whatever the weather!

Please RSVP so our host knows how much lunch to make!

Queen's Park ward is one of our key targets in the May 2023 local elections. We'll be working hard to elect two Green councillors in the newly reshaped ward, but in order to do that we need to knock on every door in the ward!

Whether you're an experienced canvasser or this is your first time, this is a great chance to meet other local activists and experience the local Green Team in action. Full training and support will be given.

Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect!
