Whether they’re driven by war and persecution, by drought or just by poverty … people are on the move, forced to leave the places they love, to grab a few belongings and migrate.

Come and join in the dissuasion with Jean Lambert MEP (Green Party), Dr James Hampshire (University of Sussex), migration expert Karl Kopp – EU representative, Pro Asyl (Germany’s leading refugee campaign, on German experience) and Nadine Strasman – founder-member, Sussex Syrian Community Group.

This meeting is convened to promote open debate in the city. Apart from Green Party spokeperson Jean Lambert MEP, speakers take part on a non-political basis and without endorsing any political party.
