It has become clear the police have been extensively monitoring the activities of Caroline Lucas MP, and Sian Berry, the Green Party candidate for London Mayor. The entry records show Lucas was monitored whilst attending demonstrations in Brighton on a number of occasions. This suggests Sussex Police may have been involved, not just the Anti-Extremism Unit.

Hove Library move halted by Greens

The Labour Council’s plans to move Hove Library have been put on hold this week, in response to an amendment drawn up by Green Councillors, which was due to be tabled ahead of a meeting of the Policy and Resources committee on Thursday.
