Blog comments policy

All comments to the Brighton and Hove Green Party blog pages are moderated so they are checked that they're not offensive, confusing or unconstructive.

We reserve the right to decide whether to publish a comment. 

We'll post comments if they are constructive and add to the debate. 

That includes if they're from a different perspective from the blogger and / or the Green Party.

Comments that are in our view offensive, personalised in tone, unconstructive or confusing will not be published.

We try, although we cannot guarantee, to post constructive comments within 48 hours of a comment being received.

If you need to ask an urgent or direct question of a councillor it may be quicker to e mail them directly at their e mail address (see councillor contacts) as well as, or instead of, using the comment board.

You are welcome to write to the website team if you feel that you've been treated unfairly.

We are not obliged to respond, but we'll usually try our best to help.
